Admission and Intake information
ADMISSIONS
The following is a comprehensive guide for prospective students who would like to apply to GlobalHE, and the documents to be provided. This information is only a guide to help you lodge your application for admission.
How to Apply
How you apply will depend on your current situation – domestic or international, and whether you’re also applying for courses at other institutions.
Step-1 Have your personal details ready
Make sure you have your personal details and education history (qualification titles, institutions and dates, passport and visa information) ready before you start your application.
Step-2 Application form
Download the International Student Application Form, Form and save these forms to your computer, and complete them for submission. To complete the electronic forms, open the forms you have saved on your computer, complete the form then send it to [email protected] as an attachment. No printing required.
Applicants for admission must complete an admission application by the due date published for each admission intake cutoff date.
Step -3 Attach Supporting Documents
Applicants must attach certified copies of transcripts of all relevant previous studies, including proof of completion; a photo page from a passport or other birth records; Evidence of English Language proficiency; and any other documentation requested in the online form.
Step-4 Evidence
Where qualifications have been completed under another name, evidence must be provided of the change of name. If documents are in a language other than English, an officially certified English translation of each document must be provided together with certified copies of the original documents. An applicant for admission who is under exclusion based on academic performance or misconduct from any higher education provider, whether in Australia or elsewhere, is required to include all details of the exclusion in their application for admission.
Step-5 Special consideration
Applicants seeking special consideration about any prior educational disadvantage, or reasonable adjustments about a disability, please read the Student Disability Policy and the associated Procedure must provide additional information.
Step-6 Apply for Credit for prior studies (If applicable)
Applicants seeking credit transfer for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for prior studies at recognised tertiary institutions or based on informal learning must do according to the GHE's Credit and Recognition of Prior Learning Policy and associated Procedure.
The granting of credit for previously achieved learning is an acknowledgement by GHE that students have gained the knowledge, understanding and skills equivalent to the stated learning outcomes of related Courses and Units offered by GHE.
If you wish to apply for credit transfer, you can do so when submitting your application to GHE by completing the relevant section of the GHE Credit Transfer Application Form.
Please note that Credit will not be awarded until all prescribed administrative requirements have been satisfied by the applicant, including submission of original or certified true copies of documentation providing evidence of satisfactory completion of the previous formal studies along with unit outlines or prior learning on the basis of which credit is sought.
Scanned documents will be accepted, but applicants should be prepared to provide original documents or original certified copies of required documents upon request at any time.
Applicants for readmission
Applicants for readmission will be assessed under the current rules applicable to the same course. If the course has been discontinued or is currently not offered, the applicant will be offered admission to a comparable course, provided that they meet the admission requirements and that a place is available in that course.
Step 7 Genuine Student (GS) Requirements (International Students)
Download Financial Capacity Form, and GTE Assessment Form and save these forms to your computer, and complete them for submission. To complete the electronic forms, open the forms you have saved on your computer, complete the form then send it to [email protected] as an attachment. No printing required.
Applicants for admission must complete an admission application by the due date published for each admission intake cutoff date.
